The Right Tools For The Job

As a software engineer and trader, technology is the backbone of my trading. When there’s a problem in my workflow, I build a tool to fix the gap.

When I logged an entry of $235 as $253, I wrote a check to verify and flag if a price falls outside that day’s price range.

When I wanted an easier way to visualise and chart my historical trades, I built a tool to do it.

When I wanted a way to automatically size my positions for The Chartist portfolios; well, you’ll see what I’ve done.

After years of building and running these tools, I’ve now packaged them into a cohesive portfolio tracking tool that goes beyond simple tracking to incorporate visualisations, checks, and balances, and will soon integrate seamlessly with The Chartist’s membership portfolios at no extra cost to members.

This portfolio tracker is built from lived experience, with every feature representing a real gap-bridging tool.
