US markets kicked higher overnight, up half a percent to post new record highs basis the S&P 500. Precious metals and Copper recorded solid gains and Crude Oil was four and a half percent higher basis the Continuous Futures. The domestic market took the lead and traded higher but it was hard work and only modest rises resulted, the All Ordinaries just 0.41% higher. Small Caps out performed and were up almost one percent while all major sectors were higher, lead by Energy, Technology and Materials. Data#3 jumped after releasing net profit estimates for upcoming full year results. Resolute Mining, Livetiles and Baby Bunting were also high flyers.
