US Commentary

Our last short position in EPIC banked gains today at the desired target level. This leaves the account square but without any great setups on the horizon. Last nights plunge in the US removed some of existing setups and because we’re not trading momentum we will most likely have to wait a week or so for others to develop.

Our goal here is longer term capital growth rather than trading for an income. If we can make 30% to 40% over the coming 12-months risking 0.5% per trade we’ve done exceptionally well. That said creating expectations also creates disappointment and frustration. Its best to simply go with the flow of the markets, the setups being offered and the outcome generated.

Here is the fill from EPIC. The account balance didn’t increase a great deal because the target price was almost achieved yesterday.
