US Commentary

The wire news will show the US indices finished on a positive note but they did finish well off their intra day highs. We continue to try and make our way out of this congestion but currently there is no follow through. The risk is we continue to stay range bound and maybe in the coming days see a return to the lower boundary. Market internals offer noo clues; advancing issues posted 62% to declines at 32% and advancing volume outpaced declining volume 2:1, but still the larger gains couldn’t be held. Our Red Alert lights now stand at 8 consecutive (we’ll be writing an article on these shortly) which is cause for concern. Tread carefully here – we may tighten some stops up.
