The market was flat for most of the day, with little lead from major overseas indices which were mostly very quiet. A rally in the afternoon, seemingly from the RBA’s decision to leave interest rates on hold, saw the XJO have a reasonably solid day. Momentum has also improved on the local market. Interestingly, the NASDAQ closed above its early November highs so we will watch closely to see if other major indexes follow suit in the coming days.
