ASX Commentary

Weekly Trend: Flat
Daily Trend: Flat
Daily Momentum: ___ Down

We retain our view that the market is in no-mans land and best left alone until a clearer trend resolves itself one way or other. If we break lower we’ll start to look at short side opportunities, but we need to await that major support zone to give way first. I did some research on my own ASX Systematic PowerSetup trades for the year. An interesting stat was that 90% of non-material/energy sector trades were losses. Whilst we get told its a two-speed economy, these stats clearly show that we should be focused in that area and forgo trades outside, especially in current non-trending conditions.
