December 2, 2008 – Nasty volatility

Another nasty session for the market with our Model Performance account also giving up some small open profits again. DJS again bucked the trend to help our cause, closing about 5% higher. We initiated a short in STO but suffered some open slippage due to the large decline in US equities, so some defense will be applied tomorrow should prices fail to move lower. US market have moved higher overnight so hopefully we’ll get some of these open positions working for us again.
